Key Challenges
- To find a royalty management tool that scales with changes in the music industry
- To remove the stress from monthly reporting cycles
- To compete with the growing competition in their field
Why Curve?
Since its inception in 2014, AudioSalad had struggled to find the correct solution for processing royalties for its clients. From building their own tool, which served its purpose initially but proved costly to scale, to then outsourcing to a solution that lacked the customer support AudioSalad needed to ensure a smooth process for its clients. AudioSalad needed to find a company that not only provided the accounting infrastructure to enable smooth monthly reporting, but also a company that was flexible enough to grow and change with their requirements. Add to that the need for a robust support system, something they knew would make their business an even better version of itself, and the search began in 2019.
AudioSalad founder and CEO Iain Catling was drawn to the ethos and promise of Curve, immediately impressed with the rapport he struck up with Managing Director Tom Allen and further bolstered by knowing General Manager Richard Leach from previous projects – Iain met with Tom and the rest as they say, is history.
“The correct thinking had gone into the product, and we’ve not looked back”
Iain Catling
The Curve Solution
Curve’s commitment to listening to and understanding their clients, coupled with the powerful yet simple to use software means that AudioSalad now has the perfect match for their needs and for recommending to their clients.
“I feel we have found the synergy that we were lacking with our previous reporting partners”
Iain Catling
The Success
- Dependable monthly reporting to enable clients to track performance and growth
- Royalty data produced for their distributed labels is translated into visual analytics for their client interface
- Curve scales according to AudioSalad’s needs creating a flexible platform for their ever-fluid client base
- Constantly looking at ways to optimise API to streamline processes
It doesn’t end there…
Iain is quick to sing the praises of Curve – he has been so impressed by the company both in terms of performance and the human relationship that when asked for recommendations for a Royalty Management system he has directed record publishers and labels directly to Curve, something he says he could not have done before. Iain is so confident that his clients will receive the very best, endorsing Curve only serves to strengthen the AudioSalad reputation within the industry.
