Curve platform excels in the second half of 2020
Another accounting period has come to an end at Curve, with our software doing what it does best, making life easier for labels and publishers to pay their artists fairly and promptly.
For the labels and publishers accounting for 2020-H2 (any revenues received between July-December 2020) Curve has:
• Calculated over one billion lines of data
• Generated over one-hundred thousand statements
During this period more than fifteen thousand artists and composers accessed the platform to collect their statements and access analytics. The longest calculation was eleven hours, crunching over eighty-five million lines of data. However, a past period of similar size took the same client nearly four days using their previous platform.
Of all the things we’re proud of, this level of data processing is right up there. In an age where streaming has amplified the amount of royalty transactions, record labels and publishers need to manage royalties effectively and transparently to reassure their artists & songwriters. The amount of data that Curve processed reaffirms our position as the total music royalty solution, unparalleled in simplifying royalty management and providing clear and complete reporting to copyright creators.
